Product Description
SIDLEY H-HPC is a series of off-white powders that is non-ionic cellulose ether. It is soluble in water below 38ºC and many polar organic solvents. It has different viscosities. It has many excellent properties. For example,It has organic solvent solubility, thermoplasticity, and surface activity with the thickening and stabilizing properties.And Its solution has low surface and interfacial tensions.

 

Character	White or off-white powder,no smell,tasteless;insoluble in ethanol, and ether.
Application	Mainly used as disintegrant and adhesive of solid dosage. Its powder has a large surface area and porosity so that accelerates the absorption temperature,increasing the swelling property which makes tablet easy to collapse. In the meanwhile, a larger mosaic effect among its rough structure,drugs and particles improvs the hardness and gloss of the tablet. To the drug that cannot easily be shaped, it will promote it molding, improve its hardness. To the drug with poor disintegrating property, it will accelerate the collapse so that improve the dissolution to enhanced bioavailability.
