Chemical Nature

PCE-156B is a new generation of environmentally friendly polycarboxylate with remarkable characteristics of slow release and water reduction. It can significantly improve the long-term maintenance of concrete slumps and retention and is incredibly excellent in pumping concrete.

Features of application

1. Excellent slump retention: It can effectively inhibit the hydration reaction rate in the early and induction stages of cement hydration.
2. Sustained release: This slump-preserving agent has a low initial and a high later water reduction rate. It has excellent slow-release dispersion properties for cement.
3. The product is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and harmless, and is conducive to the deployment of environmental concrete;
4. The product has excellent adaptability;

Usage

1. This product is 50% solid liquid, low water reduction rate, it is not a terminal product used in concrete production, it is recommended to be used in combination with polycarboxylate water reducing agent(PCE 154L). Recommended compound ratio: polycarboxylate mother liquor and PCE156B mass ratio = 8:2~7:3. The best compound ratio should be determined according to the test.
2.When users first use the product or change raw materials, please refer to the instructions according to the construction requirements plus conditions and conduct necessary trial mixing tests on the dosage along with methods to obtain the best technical and economic benefits;
3. The product cannot be mixed with a naphthalene water-reducing agent to avoid affecting the performance.

Storage condition

1. The product is transported in plastic barrels or tankers and can also be packaged in unique ways according to customer requirements;
2. The product is non-toxic and non-flammable;
3. The product should be stored in a cool place and avoid long-term contact with steel items. It should be kept covered and protected from sunlight, rain, and freezing. The storage temperature should be between 0-40ºC and below 0ºC. There will be freezing during storage. Heat it until it melts and stir evenly again before use if ice is found;
4. The shelf life of the product is six months. If it exceeds, it can only be used after passing the technical index inspection and confirming that its performance meets the requirements through concrete trial mix verification.

Packing for Transportation

1	This product is packed in 25kg bags out HDPE bags inner with LDPE bags.
2	Store products with original packaging in a dry, clean environment and away from heat sources. This product is not easy to lose efficacy, but it is hydrophilic-based. If the storage environment is poor, it will slowly absorb moisture. It is recommended to follow the first-in-first-out principle when using it. The packaging must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture intrusion if not finished use.
