water reducing admixture, slump Retention for concrete | |||||||||||
Product Descriptions | SIDLEY PCE 155L is a new generation of environmentally friendly polycarboxylate high-performance water-reducing agent. It is produced using molecular structure design principles based on DLVO charge repulsion theory and steric hindrance effect theory. The process involves the graft copolymerization of unsaturated monomers under the action of initiators, resulting in the attachment of side chains with active groups onto the main polymer chain. |
||||||||||
Applications | SIDLEY PCE 155L is suitable for the production of ready-mix concrete and precast concrete components. SIDLEY PCE 155L provides a great water reduction effect, particularly excellent fluidity, while also exhibiting strong cohesiveness and high self-leveling performance. SIDLEY PCE 155L is suitable for concrete in the following situations: Ready-mix concrete Self-compacting concrete High-strength concrete High-performance concrete The significant water-reducing effect and excellent fluidity are particularly evident in the above-mentioned applications. |

Dosage | SIDLEY PCE 155L is a 50% solid liquid with a low water-reduction rate. It is not a terminal product for concrete production but should be used in combination with a polycarboxylate water-reducing agent (PCE 154L/PCE 156L). The recommended compound ratio is: Polycarboxylate water-reducing agent (PCE 154L/PCE 156L) and PCE 155L mass ratio = 8:2 to 5:5. The recommended dosage is 0.2-0.5% (solid content) of the cementitious material, and the water-reducing rate can reach 10-25%. This will maintain workability retention for periods of up to 1-2 hours. When users first use the product or change raw materials, it is advisable to refer to the instructions based on the construction requirements and conditions, and to conduct necessary trial mixing tests to obtain the best technical and economic benefits. The product cannot be mixed with a naphthalene-based water-reducing agent to avoid affecting its performance. |

Characteristics and Benefits | SIDLEY PCE 155L works through surface absorption and produces a steric hindrance effect on cement particles, which can block temporary hydration. Its typical characteristics are as follows: Super strong slump retention effect Extremely strong liquidity (self-leveling) Extremely low alkali content (reduces alkali-aggregate reaction) Improves shrinkage and creep performance Reduces the carbonation rate of concrete Improves the durability of concrete SIDLEY PCE 155L does not contain chloride ions or other components that can corrode steel reinforcement. Therefore, it can be used without restrictions in reinforced and prestressed concrete. |

Store products with original packaging in a dry, clean environment and away from heat sources. This product is not easy to lose efficacy, but it is hydrophilic-based. If the storage environment is poor, it will slowly absorb moisture. It is recommended to follow the first-in-first-out principle when using it. The packaging must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture intrusion if not finished use.
