Gypsum retarder
Product Instruction
Gypsum retarder is a protein retarder developed for gypsum-based productsand is widely used to adjust the setting time of various gypsum. In themixture of gypsum and water, GR-50 as a retarder can reduce the growth rateof hydrated crystals. lts activity is reflected in the correlation between thesetting time and the addition amount, and good performance can beobtained even at a low addition amount. In general, GR-50 can be used alone in gypsum formulations, but can also beused with citric acid and tartaric acid to obtain delayed hardening andsuitable consistency.
Performance
Excellent retarding effect
Low dosage
Little impact on strength
Significantly increase the operating time of gypsum mortar
Applion
Gypsum plaster
Bonding plaster
Joint plaster
Gypsum-based self-leveling
Usage and dosage
Gypsum retarder needs to be fully mixed with other components evenly, and the appropriate dosage should be selected accordingto the performance requirements of diferent products. In gypsum plaster, the recommended dosage is 0.19~0.3% of the totalgypsum, and the specific dosage is determined through experiments according to the desired effect, material and formula.
