SidleyCel® L-HPC is a pharmaceutical excipient specially manufactured for tablet production, which is made of alkali cellulose by etherification of ethylene oxide. The molecular structure contains a large number of hydrophilic groups, large surface area and porosity, which accelerates the moisture-absorption, improves the swelling rates (better than starch), facilitates tablets disintegration and the fineness after disintegration, and accelerates dissolution rate.
