Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulfonate
LAS-60
Chemical Nature
Sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate is a type of air-entraining agent. it is dissolved in water andadded to the concrete mixture. it can produce a large numberoftiny bubbles during the mixingprocess. Air-entraining agents can improve the workabilty, water retention, cohesion ofconcretemixtures, and the fuidity of concrete.
Features of application
1. improve the workability of concrete mixture;
2.lmprove the impermeability and frost resistance of concrete,
3. Weaken the strength of concrete. The size of the weakening is related to the amountand size of bubbles generated by the air-entraining agent. lfthe bubbles generated aremainly small holes, the weakening will be relatively small. Ofcourse, the water-reducingeffect of the air-entraining agent will compensate for the strength weakening caused bythe air-entraining agent;
Storage
The product should be stored in a dry, clean environment, in its original packaging and away from heat sources. This product is not easy to fail, but it is a hydrophilic product, if the storage environment is poor, it will slowly inhale water, it is recommended to follow the principle of first in first out when using. If the product is not used up, the packaging must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture intrusion.
