Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is a high molecular compound obtained from cellulose through chemical modification.In textile printing and dyeing, CMC serves as a replacement for sodium alginate with active dye printing. its color brightness, colorfastness, and feel are equivalent to those of sodium alginate. CMc has a high paste rate, and the film formed after drying is toughand easy to wash off compared to starch paste. Similar to sodium carboxymethyl starch paste, due to the presence of manycarboxvlate anions in its molecules,it is suitable for anionic dves, CMc paste generally withstands calcium and magnesium ions inhard water. High-substitution and low-viscosity paste have strong electrolyte and acid resistance capabilities, making CMc widelyused in textile printing anddveingDrocesses
